Vacuum Contacts for the Distribution of Electrical Power
A vacuum interuptor consists of a cylindric ceramic housing which is on both ends gas tight closed by metallic caps. The contacts are brazed to the moveable repectively to the fixed electrodes which are connected to the bus-bars.
Contact materials of PLANSEE for vacuum interuptors have to fulfill various requirements.
